A FIDE Trainers Seminar with focus on chess for the disabled!
From March 28th till March 30th, 2014 a special FIDE-TRG Trainers Seminar took place in Berlin, Germany (FIDE Trainer Academy - http://trainers.fide.com).
The focus was on issues for disabled players. The lecturers Uwe Boensch and Thomas Luther were presenting special training opportunities for disabled players. During the seminar, the lessons and the discussions showed many ideas for inclusive training.
Eleven participants from Germany, France, Poland, India and Austria took part. Special thanks to FIDE, who generously supported the event. The seminar was co-organised by the FIDE, the European Chess Union (ECU), the FIDE Trainers’ Commission (TRG), the International Physically Disabled Chess Association (IPCA) and the Deutcher Schachbund (German Chess Federation).

Malola Prasath from India is a member of FIDE´s Chess in Schools Commission. During a lesson he got blindfolded and was solving a puzzle on a braille chess set. Uwe Boensch, left, and Bernard Sojka, an IA from France, are watching closely. 
A coffee break was used to follow the live transmission of the candidates tournament. Chess players in their world!
