FIDE Trainers Seminar

Concepcion, Chile
July 24-26, 2015
This seminar was organized by Club de Concepcion with the endorsement of the Chilean Chess Federation “AJEFECH”, FIDE America and the FIDE Social Action Commission “SAC”. 28 participants which included players, teachers and trainers from cities across Chile participated in this FIDE Trainers Seminar.
GM and Senior Trainer Reinaldo Vera was the Lecturer and the Assistant Lecturer was IO, WIM and FIDE Trainer Beatriz Marinello.
This event provided a great opportunity for a high level of chess training, an experience that will enable the participants to improve their professional skills. The seminar was a positive and necessary exchange about the development of chess as an educational and social tool.
In addition to the educational value of the seminar, we had the pleasure of welcoming a very special guest, FM Eduardo Rojas.
FM Rojas shared his experiences as a former Cadet World Champion and as a supporter of chess in Concepcion.
It was an honor to have FM Eduardo Rojas speak at the seminar, his talk enriched the experience for the seminar participants.
We thank FM Eduardo Rojas for his time and wonderful contributions to chess. The chess communities in Chile need more people like FM Rojas that can promote chess in the country and contribute to its educational development and value.
Participants and the Chilean Chess Federation expressed their gratitude to the FIDE Trainers Commission for offering these seminars.
