From 4 to 8 June 2014 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Macau, by the Grupo de Xadrez de Macau, in cooperation with the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and under auspices of FIDE.
The lecturer was IA Ignatius Leong (SIN), FIDE General Secretary and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA N Y Wong (SIN), and IA Abd Hamid Majid (MAS). The lectures were in English language.
Six (6) Arbiters from four (4) Federations (Korea, Singapore, Vietnam and Kenya) participated in the Seminar and all of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.
The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm or the title of FIDE Arbiter, according to the article 3.10 of the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
